Pattaya Attractions | Pattaya islands and natural attractions
There are a number of Pattaya islands (islands that surround Pattaya) to choose from. People visiting Pattaya often consider daytrips to Pattaya islands including the most popular of them all - Coral Island, also known as Koh Lan (Koh Laan or Koh Larn).
Coral Island (Koh Larn)
Coral Island is one of the closer Pattaya islands about 7.6 kilometers west of Pattaya which translates to a 30 - 40 minute ferry ride. Ferry rides from Bali Hai Pier cost only 20 Baht and leave quite regularly. For those who like to splurge and have more control over their departure time to and from the island, there are speed boat charters available for approximately 1,500 Baht to 2,500 Baht.
A day trip to Coral Island is as close to a "must do" while in Pattaya as there is. There are many things to do on Pattaya islands, especially Coral Island.
