Coral Island (Koh Larn)

Coral Island is one of the closer Pattaya islands about 7.6 kilometers west of Pattaya which translates to a 30 - 40 minute ferry ride. Ferry rides from Bali Hai Pier cost only 20 Baht and leave quite regularly. For those who like to splurge and have more control over their departure time to and from the island, there are speed boat charters available for approximately 1,500 Baht to 2,500 Baht.

A day trip to Coral Island is as close to a "must do" while in Pattaya as there is. There are many things to do on Pattaya islands, especially Coral Island.

Coral Island - Activities and Recreation

Visiting Coral Island opens up a world of possibilities including great banana boat rides, jet skiing and parasailing. There is spectacular scuba diving and snorkeling as well as submarine rides for you to enjoy as well.

Coral Island has something for everyone which is why it is one of the most popular of the Pattaya islands. Children love the submarine ride and swimming in the waters off the beautiful beaches. Adults enjoy diving, sunbathing and walking along the shore. The entire family can enjoy banana boat rides and other great water sports while visiting Coral Island.

Like Pattaya, the Pattaya islands have a number of restaurants and hotels to choose from, especially Coral Island. You can enjoy a great meal and even spend a night or two on Coral Island before heading back to Pattaya to partake in some more nightlife and other popular Pattaya activities.

Visitors are strongly encouraged to visit one or more of the Pattaya islands with Coral Island being at the top of the list.
