Coral Island (Koh Larn) is a popular destination for Pattaya diving and other water sports. The island has six popular beaches and many opportunities for water sports including diving. You can get a ferry to Ko Laan from Bali Hai Pier for 20 Baht. The trip is around 35 minutes.

There are other popular islands for Pattaya scuba diving including: Koh Saak, Koh Krok and Koh Phai (Bamboo Island). Snorkeling and scuba diving is great and you can explore the coral reefs.

Bamboo Island or Koh Phai (as well as the other islands in the group) are the perfect islands for scuba divers. Many divers consider these Pattaya islands to be the best for diving.

Pattaya Scuba Diving: Mermaid Dive Centre

Pattaya scuba diving often centers around the Mermaid Dive Centre. The centre offers instruction, certification and great diving trips.

The prime places for Pattaya scuba diving are the islands listed above including: Koh Rin, Koh Man Wichai, Koh Keung Badaan, Koh Hu Chang and Koh Phi. There are over 20 different dive sites you can go to with the Mermaid Dive Centre.

Pattaya scuba diving in this area will enable you to see schools of tuna, barracuda and jacks, as well as many different species of soft coral and hard coral. There are also moray eels, porcupine puffer fish, stingrays and other amazing sea creatures.

Pattaya scuba diving is made even better with the two intact shipwrecks that can be seen in the Samae San area. An old freighter (Petchburi Bremen) and an old freighter (The Hardeep) are popular Pattaya diving attractions.
