Pattaya shopping is terrific and the Pattaya malls are usually crowded with locals and visitors from around the world. You can get many great busy in Pattaya, though high-end electronics should be avoided for the most part.
Before you go to the malls make sure you exchange your currency for Thai Baht. There are many exchange booths in and around the malls. The list of Pattaya malls includes: Central Festival Centre (large mall on Second Road across from Soi 2), Mike Shopping Mall (Beach Road between Soi 11 and Soi 12), Outlet Mall (corner of Therapist Road and Siukhumvit Road), P.S. Plaza (junction of Central Pattaya Road and Second Road) and Royal Garden Plaza (ajacent to Pattaya Marriot Hotel between Soi Post Office and Soi Pattayaland 1).
The malls are all popular and you can find some good buys. Small merchants and handicrafts warehouses offer better pricing and you can generally haggle to get a good price.
If you are looking for jewerly and gems you can go to the Pattaya malls and also visit many of the jewerly and gem stores throughout Pattaya. Buyers should be wary of buying gems or other jewelry from vendors that do not offer certificates of authenticity or guarantee.
Visitors to Pattaya should plan on doing some shopping because you can find great items at great prices. Start with Pattaya malls and then visit some of the small merchants and vendors in Pattaya and surround villages.
