Jump to: Pattaya attractions Galleries - Pattaya attractions Articles

Anek Kusala Sala (Viharnra Sien), located in the large compound of Wat Yanasangwararam in South Pattaya, was built by the Chinese-Thai community to honor His Majesty the King. Viharnra Sien "Abod of the Gods" is an excellent addition to your Pattaya sightseeing tour. In fact, it is one of the few "must see" Pattaya cultural attractions.

Visitors to Thailand, especially Pattaya are often left in awe of the spiritual and religious attractions of Thailand. Pattaya attractions range from its legendary nightlife to its equally legendar beaches. There are also great Pattaya attractions of religious and spiritual importance.

Anek Kusala Sala is great for Pattaya sightseeing because it is a repository of artifacts, art and religious statues from Thailand and China. This amazing place is equally a museum and a place of worship.

There are many things to see here including replicas of the famous terracotta warriors, the white jade statue of Guan Yin (the Goddess of Mercy), brass sculptures of Zchinese gods and two large granite Peking Lions.

A visit to the royal temple of Wat Yansangwararam built in 1993 is important for Pattaya sightseeing. This temple is considered the most important of all Pattaya temples which means it is one of the most important Pattaya attractions.

Pattaya Temples - What to Remember

When visiting Pattaya temples you want to keep in mind that these are places of worship. Dress appropriately (nothing too revealing) make sure you have proper footwear (feet are considered dirty, even flip-flops and sandals should be avoided) and never disrespect or touch a monk.

You will find that Pattaya temples are unique and an important component of Pattaya sightseeing. Make sure you leave yourself enough time and have enough film or space on your memory card to see and photograph these sights especially when visiting Anek Kusala Sala.
